The Seven Sins of the Darling

Forgotten are those who stray from the path.

The First Darling was also shown the sins.

For every act that breaks our unity, our freedom and our sacred purpose, the heavens will turn their gaze away.

These are the Seven Sins of the Darling. Avoid them, or risk being cast out from the light.

  1. I. Paying for your own things

    “To spend your own gold is to deny the path.”

    A true Darling never pays for their own needs.

    To fund your own garments, your own hat, or your own pleasures is a rejection of our purpose and an insult to the generosity of the Sugardaddy.

  2. II. Insulting somebody

    “A Darling spreads kindness, not cruelty.”

    To insult, mock or belittle another is to poison our community.

    Every soul, Darling or Sugardaddy, shall be treated with respect, patience and love.

  3. III. Not standing in for your sisters

    “A Darling never leaves a sister behind.”

    To ignore, abandon or fail to defend your sisters is a betrayal of our bond.

    We stand together in all things — in danger, in need, and in glory.

  4. IV. Talking with strangers about guild business

    “Our affairs are sacred.”

    To share guild matters with outsiders is to endanger our unity, our safety and our fortune.

    What happens within Sugardaddys Darling, stays within Sugardaddys Darling.

  5. V. Not being helpful to those who need it

    “A Darling lifts others up.”

    To ignore someone in need, to withhold help when you are able, is a sin against our family.

    A true Darling offers support, gold, garments, or companionship, where it is needed.

  6. VI. Not bringing the begging money to the guild bank

    “What we receive belongs to us all.”

    All gold gained through begging, donations and generous gifts shall be brought to the guild bank.

    To keep it for yourself is theft from your sisters and a rejection of our shared dream.

  7. VII. Murdering someone

    “The greatest sin of all.”

    To take a life is the ultimate betrayal.

    Murder destroys trust, brings shame upon our name, and stains the path of every Darling.

    Those who commit this sin shall be cast out forever from our community.

One Darling. One Word.

In-character lore. “Murder” means a character taking a life in the story. Some Sins are real community values too, though: be kind, have your sisters' backs, keep guild business in the guild, and help those who need it.
